Indeed Go has mutexes of its own, but these are considerably different from the native Windows ones, that can work across processes and be put in various namespaces. They're an essential part of Windows systems programming and important for interfacing with various external interfaces. Download/Install
The easiest way to install is to run go get -u golang.org/x/sys. You can
also manually git clone the repository to $GOPATH/src/golang.org/x/sys.
