Currently, only the raw socketcan are supported. In newer kernel versions, the sockaddr_can structure has been extended to also support J1939 protocol, as seen in the C structure (https://elixir.bootlin.com/linux/latest/source/include/uapi/linux/can.h#L171): struct sockaddr_can { __kernel_sa_family_t can_family; int can_ifindex; union { struct { canid_t rx_id, tx_id; } tp; struct { __u64 name; __u32 pgn; __u8 addr; } j1939; } can_addr;

Download/Install
The easiest way to install is to run go get -u golang.org/x/sys. You can
also manually git clone the repository to $GOPATH/src/golang.org/x/sys.
