Most newer architectures (e.g. arm64 or riscv64) don't provide the inotify_init syscall and some systems (e.g. Android) block it even if it were available. Internally, the inotify_init syscall is implemented exactly like inotify_init1 [1], so there is no point in having a separate wrapper on some platforms. This repository holds supplemental Go packages for low-level interactions with the operating system.
Download/Install
The easiest way to install is to run go get -u golang.org/x/sys. You can
also manually git clone the repository to $GOPATH/src/golang.org/x/sys.
